For this project in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, our clients wanted more than a refresh—they wanted their home to truly reflect their personality and style. Partnering with NewLife Hardwood Floors and their designer Brenda Summers, we renovated the entire downstairs, blending craftsmanship with bold design choices.
The Transformation
Phase one of this remodel included a complete overhaul of the kitchen, master bath, office, powder room, and living spaces. Highlights of the renovation include:

Kitchen Remodel – Featuring deep teal cabinetry, a custom wood range hood, elegant brass hardware, and a stunning geometric marble backsplash. Paired with quartz countertops and statement pendant lights and above the sink lighting, the space feels both modern and timeless.

Living Room Update – We installed a new stone fireplace hearth. The refinished hardwoods throughout (courtesy of NewLife Hardwood Floors) add warmth and continuity.

Master Bath Retreat – A spa-like shower with marble-look tile and decorative inlay, paired with a sculptural freestanding tub, transforms the bathroom into a sanctuary.

Powder Room Personality – With vibrant, tropical wallpaper and elegant brass fixtures, this small space makes a big impression.

Dining Nook – A dramatic beadboard ceiling detail and a sculptural chandelier turn the breakfast area into a true design moment.
The Result
The home now feels fresh, inviting, and deeply personal to the homeowners. Every room tells part of the story: a bold, stylish, and thoughtfully designed living space that balances function with flair.
